Riberry is a medium-sized to large tree that is native to Australia.  Riberry trees have pink-lilac new growth, deep green leaves, and white-pink berries in the fall.  The trees can tolerate full sun to part shade, but are frost intolerant. The fruit is  pear-shaped and red or pink in color.

Riberries can be a good supplement for dogs and are rich in manganese and calcium, and contain anthocyanin, a plant antioxidant that may help with cognitive function and protect against certain cancers and  heart disease. Riberries also contain vitamins A, C, E, and folate.
